Competitive intelligence research is commonly used by many technology companies to assess and maintain their competitiveness in a fast-changing technical environment.
Mr. York has been performing competitive technology intelligence research and analysis since 1979. As a technical laboratory analyst, he subjected a wide variety of semiconductor products to physical and elemental analysis to determine quality of manufacturing, identify process materials and layer/device layout features, and assess minimum physical feature sizes. This information was commonly used by clients to benchmark competitors technology levels, assess the competitiveness of their processes, and gain important technical insights to assist their research and development efforts.
Although not currently associated with any laboratories or analytical facilities, Mr. York uses his extensive experience and technical knowledge to assist his clients with competitive semiconductor technology intelligence research, selecting analytical techniques to best detect features of interest, and evaluation of technical data results.
Mr. York is also available to assist with remote data collectionat any site with short notice and will provide written documentation of all steps to ensure maximum integrity of the data and collection trail.
